I am in shock that I can write this blog. How has it been a whole year since posing this sweet little newborn?? I still remember how he slept like a dream that whole session.❤ I remember talking to his mommy about life, babies and everything in between. The hours flew by while we captured as well as created so many memories.
That head full of hair had my heart swooning from the get go. He was out like a light and was one of the most chill babies I have had the pleasure of photographing.
I'm pretty sure Raylan was the very first baby I tried out expression shots with. I was so nervous since I had never tried it before but quickly became a staple in my work. This little yawn is still one of my faves to date.
I LOVE it when parents join in the photos. There is nothing like that connection between a parent and their brand new baby bundle. The perfect way to remember how tiny they are in your arms.
Fast forward to his 6 month close up! Look at those curls!!!! I was already obsessed with him and he only got cuter as the year went on. All smiles and cheeks for daaaaays.
And now...... he's turning 1! I feel like I blinked and this past year has flown by. There have been a lot of ups and downs for everyone this past year but I will never forget the amazing families I have met throughout it. I am so honored to capture little one's milestones and cherish all the memories I now have from this little guy being in my life. Happy birthday, Raylan!!
While he isn't quite walking, Raylan decided to show me his new moves such as standing on his own and even taking a couple of steps!
